系统叙述中国农业谚语的起源和发展过程，着重叙述解放后农业谚语的搜集、整理和出版工作；分析中国农业谚语的科学性、通俗性、地域性、局限性等突出特点，论述解放后出现的新农谚的科技含量，提出继承、发展、应用农业谚语的观点，明确指出农业谚语是永远存在的，它的内容是随时代的发展而变化的，只有人们不断发现、不断积累，农业谚语才能不断发展。

Origin and evolution of agricultural proverb in China were related in this paper, in which the collection, organization and publication of agricultural proverb after liberation were emphasized. According to scientificity, popularity, territoriality and limitation of agricultural proverb, technology content of new agricultural proverb after liberation was discussed. Inheritance, evolution, and application of agricultural proverb were proposed. Agricultural proverb varied with the development of the times, and it would exist forever.
