新世纪以来，由于我国综合国力增强，社会主流价值趋向于公平、公正价值观，有关农民工流动人口的社会政策有很大进步。但是，受限于农民工群体的弱势地位，缺乏利益表达渠道与政治参与能力，也无法与用人单位代表的资方进行有效地讨价还价，实际的政策执行效果并不理想。随着我国农民工流动人口群体内部出现分化，相关社会政策应该积极转变，应更多地关注农民工群体的城市融入问题。

Since the new century,because of China's comprehensive national strength enhanced, the social mainstream value tends to be the values of fairness and justice, there has been a great improvement in social policy about migrant workers of the floating population.However, limited by the weakness of the migrant workers status, lack of interest expression channels and political participation ability, also can't effectively with unit of choose and employ persons on behalf of the management bargaining, the actual policy implementation results are unsatisfactory. As China's floating population of migrant workers internal differentiation , relevant social policies should be positive change , should pay more attention to integration of migrant workers in urban issues .
