Research Progress of Breeding Methods and Status of Potato

摘要: 简要归纳了国内外马铃薯育种的研究方法及研究进展,介绍了引种鉴定、实生种育种、芽变育种、杂交育种、诱变育种、分子标记辅助育种、细胞工程技术育种及转基因技术育种的研究方法,以期获得马铃薯育种的研究现状和存在的问题,展望了今后马铃薯育种需要借鉴的方向和思路,充分挖掘马铃薯种质资源,加强生物技术在马铃薯育种中的应用,将传统育种和分子育种相结合,为马铃薯育种提供理论依据和技术支持,并为继续培育马铃薯新品种提供参考。

Abstract: The breeding methods and application status of potato were summarized in this paper. Breeding methods on potato were described including introduction identification, seed breeding, bud mutation breeding, cross-breeding, mutation breeding, molecular marker assistant breeding, cell engineering techniques breeding and transgenic engineering breeding. Then, the authors discussed the breeding situation and existing problems, and made an outlook on new ways that could be used in potato breeding, including exploring of potato germplasm resources, application of biotechnology in breeding, combination of conventional breeding and molecular breeding. The research could provide theoretical basis and technical support for potato breeding and lay the foundation for varieties cultivation.
