Effects of Iron and Vitamin A and Their Interaction on Performance and Serum Antioxidant Indice in Laying Hens

摘要:

本试验旨在探讨铁和维生素A及其互作效应对产蛋鸡生产性能和血清抗氧化指标的影响。采用3×2完全随机试验设计,将432只海兰褐产蛋鸡随机分为6个处理组。日粮铁的添加量为0、30、60 mg/kg,维生素A的添加量为4000、8000 IU/kg。结果表明:(1)日粮铁的添加水平显著提高平均蛋重和血清铜锌超氧化物歧化酶、谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶和铜蓝蛋白活力及过氧化氢含量和抑制羟自由基能力(P<0.05),显著提高31~34周龄总抗氧化能力(P<0.05)。(2)日粮维生素A的添加水平显著提高了血清铜蓝蛋白活力(P<0.05)。(3)铁和维生素A互作效应对血清谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶和铜蓝蛋白活力的影响均显著(P<0.05)。结果提示常规日粮中添加铁没有明显改善产蛋鸡的生产性能,但促进了体内自由基的生成,同时提高了抗氧化酶的活力。

Abstract:

The study was conducted to investigate the effects of iron and vitamin A on performance and serum antioxidant indice in laying hens. A 3×2 completely random experiment was designed. A total of four hundred and thirty-two Hyline Brown laying hens were randomly divided into 6 treatments. Iron supplementation levels were 0, 30, 60 mg/kg, and vitamin A supplementation levels were 4000, 8000 IU/kg. The results showed that: (1) The supplementation of dietary iron increased significantly average egg weight, activity of Cu, Zn-superoxide dismulase, glutathione peroxidase and ceruloplasmin in serum, and concentration of hydrogen peroxide and inhibiting hydroxy radical capacity in serum (P<0.05),and increased significantly total antioxidant capacity in serum at 31-34 weeks (P<0.05). (2) The supplementation of dietary vitamin A increased significantly activity of ceruloplasmin in serum (P<0.05). (3) Interaction of iron and vitamin A affected significantly the activity of glutathione peroxidase and ceruloplasmin in serum (P<0.05). The results indicated that the supplementation of iron in diet did not improved performance of laying hens, but promoted production of free radicals, and increased activity of antioxidase.
