Abstract: Through the development of land consolidation project in rural areas, to promote the development of new rural construction and balance urban and rural areas, to ensure that the total cultivated land dynamic equilibrium and arable land accounts for dynamic balance, promote the solution of the "three agricultural" problems and so on, plays a very important role. Based on a certain area of land consolidation project in Chongqing, this paper used the methods of literature review, case analysis etc, analyzed the problems existing in the land consolidation project, and analyzed the cause of the problem. Finally put forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions to solve the problems, such as strengthen the topographic survey, strengthen basic data and information collection, establish special expert database, strengthen the management of the construction site and so on, to ensure the smooth implementation of the land consolidation, and the work of land consolidation to a higher level.
