铁路沿线4种蒿属植物植冠储藏种子的重量形状及萌发特性

Canopy-stored Seeds of 4 Artemisia Species Along the Railway: Weight, Shape and Germination Characteristics

摘要: 以辽西北铁路沿线沙区段4种蒿属植物为研究对象,[方法]比较研究了植冠储藏种子重量形状和种子萌发特点,[目的]分析特殊生境不同蒿属植物繁殖对策的功能差异及其在植被更新进化过程中所发挥的作用。[结果]结果表明,万年蒿和大籽蒿的种子形状偏圆形、重量大,野艾蒿种子形状偏扁平、重量小,只有黄蒿种子不仅小且近圆形,推测黄蒿可能具有持久土壤种子库;万年蒿、大籽蒿、野艾蒿和黄蒿的种子萌发格局表现为前期萌发迅速,后期萌发缓慢;野艾蒿和万年蒿种子萌发持续时间长,具有分摊萌发风险的机制,大籽蒿和黄蒿萌发持续时间短且萌发速率高,是典型的机会主义者,萌发条件适宜即能大量快速萌发。[结论]铁路沿线沙区段蒿属植物特殊的繁殖对策在一定程度上分摊了种群生存的风险,使种群得以持续繁衍,所反映出的生态功能对铁路沿线沙区生态修复具有重要的科学指导意义。

Abstract: [Objective][Method]4 Artemisia species along with railway line in sand dune areas were selected to investigate the seed weight, shape and germination characteristics to analyze the functional differences of reproductive strategies of Artemisia plants in special habitats and the roles in vegetation regeneration and evolution. [Result]The results showed that: Seeds of Artemisia gmelinii and A. sieversiana were rounder and heavier. Seed of A. lavandulaefolia was flatter and lighter. Seed of A. scoporia was small and round, which means that this species perhaps has the persistent soil seed bank. Seeds of 4 Artemisia species were rapid in the early stage and slow in the later stage. The germination duration of A. lavandulaefolia and A. gmelinii was long which had the mechanism of share survival risks. A. sieversiana and A. scoporia had the short germination duration and low germination percentage, while opportunism was the strategy of them. Canopy seed bank in sand dune areas along with the railway line played important roles in alleviating the impacts on seed availability and seedling recruitment, which made enlargement of population easier. [Conclusion]The special ecological function of canopy seed bank contributes to the vegetation restoration along with the railway line of sand dune areas.
