Abstract: The study aims to find a suitable disinfection way of flue-cured tobacco floating disk disinfection and to effectively reduce the tobacco mosaic virus (TMV) occurrence and the losses caused by it. By adopting the floating disc disinfection in different ways, we tracked and monitored the tobacco seedlings’TMV virus detection rate and field occurrence. The results showed that using smoke machine floating disc disinfection method could reduce the TMV virus rate of tobacco seedlings and the incidence of TMV in the field, and the method was better than conventional disinfection methods in the prevention and suppression of TMV.
