The Utilization of Native Plants on Vegetation Restorationin Yulong Mountains, Yunnan

Abstract: The paper aims to the utilization of native plants on vegetation restoration and landscaping in Yulong Mountain, Yunnan. Based on the research on the acclimatization, adaptation and utilization of native plants for vegetation restoration in Yulong Mountains in the past 5 years, 143 adaptive and ornamental native plants (there were 53 species trees, 40 species shrubs, 45 species herbs and 5 species vines) were selected and assessed. The results indicated these native plants had a promotion for the vegetation restoration and landscaping in Yulong Mountains, and could provide references for other areas with similar environment.
