Determination of Oxine-copper Residues in Apple with GC

Abstract: In order to solve the problem of Oxine-copper transformed into 8-Hydroxyquinoline, taking EDTA solvent as experimental material, the GC analysis method for the Oxine-copper residual in apple was studied. Good linear correlation for Oxine-copper was found in the concentration range of 0.0605-2.42 mg/L. The detection limit was 0.0605 mg/kg for Oxine-copper. The average recovery rate was 79.8%-98.3% in apple, with RSD 1.0%-2.3% (n=5). This method is simple and reliable. It can be used for the determination of Oxinecopper residues in fruits with satisfactory results.
