Abstract: Effects of different Planting dates on the growth and yield of Peony in Dianjiang County of Chongqin were investigated in the field experiment.The result shows that Peony has relatively high yield when it is planted in the period ranging from 15 Septemper to 25 October.On the other hand,the root of Peony has superiority of the length and the diameter.According to characters index, the best planting date is on 5th in October.
