  • 1. Manuscript requirements
    Articles submitted to the “Notifications” must not have been published in any other place in any form and meet the following conditions:
    (1). It is the latest achievement of basic theory or applied research of agricultural science;
    (2). It has important scientific significance and is a research hotspot or frontier field at home and abroad;
    (3). There are innovations (new ideas, new methods, new understandings, new discoveries, etc.);
    (4). It has a greater role in promoting research in this subject area or (and) related subject areas;
    (5). It is readable and inspiring for large or non-peer scientists.

    2. Manuscript flow
    (1) Submission
    Log in to http://nxxb.caass.org.cn, click "Online Submission", and follow the prompts to complete it step by step. For the first submission, the author responsible for the revision of the article needs to be registered on the system with his real name, E-mail, and mobile phone number.
    We no longer accepts E-mail submissions and opposes multiple submissions. Once a manuscript is submitted for multiple submissions, it will be disqualified from publishing the manuscript at the same time as the first author and corresponding author will be disqualified for the next two years.
    (2) Preliminary examination
    The editorial department will usually complete the review (academic misconduct review) and initial review of the manuscript within 3 working days after the author submits the manuscript, and inform the system (email, SMS reminder) whether they can enter the process of editor in charge and expert review.
    (3) Editor in charge and expert review
    After the system shows that the review fee has been paid, the manuscript can only enter the process of editor in charge and expert review;
    Editor-in-chief and expert review normally take 4-6 weeks. During this period, the editors and reviewers may communicate with the authors through emails and manuscript systems or raise questions about one or more of the experimental design, material methods, results, conclusions, and discussions of the paper. Please reply in time.
    (4) Review
    Normally takes 1-2 weeks;
    Manuscript authors who pass the review by the editor in chief will receive system notifications (email, SMS reminders) and require payment of the page fee.
    (5) Employment
    After the system shows that the page fee has been paid, the manuscript is accepted by the editorial department. Authors can download the "Paper Acceptance Notice" on the system.
    (6) Typesetting and proofreading
    After the typesetting of the paper, the editorial department will notify the author to read the proof through system messages (email, SMS reminder). The author must fill in the proof modification form provided by the editorial department and upload the system to the problems found during the proof reading within the specified time.
    (7) Group version
    The editorial department generally selects (determines) the papers to be published in the next month in the database of the group of papers (completed to read proofs) according to the requirements of the column in accordance with the order of submission.
    (8) Sample magazine
    After the paper is published, the editorial department will mail the two current journals to the first author (or corresponding author). If you need more paper journals, please contact the editorial department to purchase.
