Abstract:
In order to understand the songhua river fish species composition of the present situation and development trend, the author in 2010 May to October, through local residents interviewing, trade market researching and sample collection, fish resources in the Songhua River were investigated. The results showed that the total numbers of fish species were 69 in the survey area, belonging to 2 classes, 8 orders, 18 families, accounting for 63.9% of Heilongjiang Province’s fish species. Cyprinidae were important economic fishes which have the largest number of 35, about 50.7% of total number. The followed is Cobitidae, which had 7 species, accounting for about 10.2% of total. Aslmonids and Bagridae both had 4 species, accounting for 5.8%. The other 19 species accounting for 27.5% were belonging to another 14 families. According to the results of the survey, the fish resources had a decreasing trend, compared with the Songhua River from the Nenjiang section to the Tongjiang section, and relevant suggestions were proposed for this phenomenon.
