Abstract: In order to study the quality of tobaccos produced in Qujing tobacco producing areas of Yunan, ‘Honghua Dajinyuan’, ‘Yunyan 87’, ‘K326’, ‘Zhongyan 100’four varies of flue-cured tobaccos were selected for study. We measured the contents of total sugar, reducing sugar, total nitrogen, nicotine, K element and Cl element in different parts of the tobaccos. The results showed that ‘Yunyan 87’ was best in chemical quality. And the best part was the middle leaves. Moreover, the total nitrogen content of leaves had positive correlationship with the nicotine content. So, the use of nitrogen fertilizer should be paid attention to control nicotine content synchronously.
