Abstract: Herbicidal plastic film for corn was a new kind of product with weeding and film functions. To study application effect of HPFC, the corn safety and control efficacy of weeds with HPFC was researched in the field. The results showed that HPFC could effectively control annual grasses such as Digitaria sanguinalis, Eleusine indica, Ageratum conyzoides in the field, control efficiency more than 80% within two months after mulching of HPFC, as yield was increased effectively. Using HPFC was safely for corn, and effective period of herbicide was longer than that of spraying herbicide directly.
