Abstract: As one of the advantage areas of China’s tilapia farming, development of tilapia in Guangxi get great importance from state and the district government in Guangxi. Earning foreign exchange through exports is an important industrial form of tilapia industry in Guangxi, therefore, enhancing competitiveness of processing exports has a very important significance for the development of tilapia industry. Based on the field survey, we study and analysis the status of processinng exports of tilapia industry in Guangxi. At present, standardization , scale and group have taken initial shape in tilapia processing industry in Guangxi. However, there are some problems and challenges during the development process, such as the low industrialization level in aquatic products processing company, the difficulties in equilibrium listed and lack of monitoring measures about products quality safety. Therefore, policy and finance support for this industry should be strengthened and tilapia processing leading enterprise should be supported so that tilapia processing exports can develop steady and healthily within a favorable environment.
