Abstract: In order to investigate the effects of different factors on hybrid soybean seed production, a three factors split plot experiment with the sowing time, row space and the ratio of male to female parents, a two factors random experiment with the sowing time, the distance from female rows to oil sunflower were studied. The results showed that, the sowing time had significant effects on hybrid soybean seed production, the row space, the ratio of male to female parents and the interactions had no significant effects. When the sowing time, row space and the ratio of male to female parents were May 10th, 50 cm and 1:2 parental rows respectively, the hybrid soybean seed production was the maximum output. The distance from female rows to oil sunflower had highly significant effects on hybrid soybean seed production. When the distance from female rows to oil sunflower were 90 cm, the output of hybrid soybean seed production was best. The conclusion was that the earlier sowing date and the shorter distance from female rows to oil sunflower can improve hybrid soybean seed production significantly or highly significantly in some cases.
