Abstract: To assure the forest diameter structure has great significance in forest sustainable management. Diameter structure in 5 different communities of C. kawakamii artificial forest was studied by applying 5 different probability distributions. The results showed that the structure feature of C. kawakamii ’s diameter distribution could be well reflected byb distribution and Weibull distribution, which had significant correlation with average bosom diameter of standing forest. The deviate degree being different and the peak value being negative and smooth, which indicated that the diameter structure of the superiority had a large scope and the medium bosom diameter was in the majority. Comparing the diameter structure ofC. kawakamii population in artificial and natural forest,b distribution imitates well in different forest origins. However, as a result of human disturbance, Weibull distribution was well reflected the diameter structure of C. kawakamii population as which were same age in artificial forest. The author analyzed the diameter distribution structure feature ofC. kawakamii population in artificial forest, which had great significance in cultivating and managing C.kawakamii population.
