Analysis of the climate in 2011 Qingyun County jujube late

Abstract: According to the historical records of the same period, the colors of Ziziphus jujuba in Qingyun begin to turn red before and after lunar calendar in July 15, which is ripe on the whole to lunar calendar in August 15, and then the fruit is fully harvested in autumnal equinox season. However, the Ziziphus jujuba stillpresented a green and lush to lunar calendar in August 15 in 2011. In accordance with the growth pattern of the Ziziphus jujuba of in this region, the Ziziphus jujuba should mature in mid- September, however, its maturity actually delayed a month. In order to find the reason which caused the delayed maturity ofZiziphus jujuba , the analysis mainly focus on the climatic features of temperature, precipitation and sunshine hours inthis paper, furthermore, a comparison was made between the features in 2011 and the climatic features during the period from 1971-2010. The results showed that there was no significant abnormalities on the overall climate of the whole growing reason, however, by further detailed analysis, it was found that the features of the low temperature, the small diurnal temperature, the above normal precipitation days and the serious shortage of sunshine during the maturity of Ziziphus jujuba , which were the main cause of late-maturing of Ziziphus jujuba
