Abstract: Microclimatic characteristics of a winter greenhouse were analyzed with meteorological observations during early Spring and Winter in 2013 and 2014. The lowest temperature prediction model inside the greenhouse for scant lighting days was established by adopting stepwise regression, and the model was applied to predict daily lowest temperature in scant lighting greenhouse for March 2014. Results indicated that the model performed well with absolute prediction errors less than 2℃. The production management measures were addressed as well to prevent and defense disasters according to the potential damages induced by smog weather.
