Abstract: Land trusteeship is a new mode in the process of land system reform under market economy. The large- scale land trusteeship is helpful to realize the land intensive management, facilitate the process of agricultural mechanization and modernization，and conform to the land policy formulated by the central government. This paper takes the land trusteeship in Nanyang City as an example, summarizes innovative practices and analyzes problems in the process. In addition, this paper presents corresponding countermeasures, including enhancing promotion and guidance, developing agriculture insurance, strengthening policy support and controlling risks effectively, thus to provide references for the implementation of land trusteeship under the new situation in rural areas in China.
