Abstract: A field experiment was conducted to evaluate the effect of conventional and reduced fertilization with a composite microbial agent on soil nutrients, crop nutrient status, and yield. The crops included broccoli, tea, grape, and‘Cuiguan’pear. The results indicated that integrated use of conventional fertilization with the composite microbial agent significantly increased broccoli yield by 16.6% (3704 kg/hm2), tea yield by 4.0% (54 kg/hm2), grape yield by 6.6% (1334 kg/hm2) and pear yield by 4.8% (1050 kg/hm2), respectively compared with that of control. Meanwhile, the output value of the above crops increased by 4089, 8124, 8535 and 5400 yuan/hm2 correspondingly. Additionally, organic matter, available nitrogen, available phosphorus, available potassium and pH value in soil increased to some extent.
