Total Coumarin Compounds of Viburnum sargenti Koehne: Research Progress

Abstract: In the study of Viburnum sargentii Koehne, it has been found that it contains red pigment, phenols, coumarin, flavone and other compounds. It has pharmacological and edible health effects. It has been widely used in food and drug fields. In this paper, the morphological characteristics, pharmacological effects and coumarin compounds were introduced, and the structure analysis of coumarin compounds and the optimal extraction process were reviewed. It will provide some reference for further research on the genus pod.
