  Study on Sowing Date and Seeding Quantity of Big-Ear Genotype Winter Wheat Variety in Peninsula Area 2012, 2 (3):  1-5.  Abstract + ( 1361 )   PDF ( 1104KB )   ( 1576 ) In order to study the suitable sowing date and seeding quantity in peninsula area of big-ear genotype winter wheat, ascertain the suitable cultivate technology, the suitable sowing date and seeding quantity of big-ear genotype winter wheat in peninsula area were studied, using the wheat variety of zhouyuan9369 and the experiment method of five sowing date and three seeding quantity. The results showed that the suitable sowing date of big-ear genotype winter wheat zhouyuan9369 is from September 27th to October 3th, the suitable seeding quantity is from 2.7 to 4.05 million seedlings/hm2, the optimum date is September 27th and 4.05 million seedlings/hm2.

  Effects of Planting Density on Yield and Quality of ‘Xundan 29’ 2012, 2 (3):  6-9.  Abstract + ( 2187 )   PDF ( 1049KB )   ( 1502 ) Field experiments were conducted to study the effect of six different planting densities on yield and quality of ‘Xundan 29’. The results showed that, ‘Xundan 29’ have higher yield potential and wider optimal density. It could yield more than 11155.4 kg/hm2 with 5.52×104-8.70×104 plant/hm2. With the increasing of planting density, the content of protein and crude fat of ‘Xundan 29’ decreased and starch content was increased, while the lysine content fluctuated. The plant density of ‘Xundan 29’ was less than 6.75×104 plants/hm2 based on comprehensive consideration. Based on the above, the optimal planting densities was 5.52×104-6.75×104 plant/hm2.

  Correlation Analysis among Morphological Character and Fiber Quality Traits in Upland Cotton 2012, 2 (3):  10-12.  Abstract + ( 1464 )   PDF ( 1085KB )   ( 1527 ) In order to improve the upland cotton quality breeding efficiency, parts of the morphological characters and five fiber quality traits of 21 upland cotton varieties (strains) were measured and the correlations between cotyledon, boll and fiber quality traits were studied. The results showed that there are significant positive correlations between the length, width and volume of large or small cotyledon and fiber strength; there are negative correlations between the length and width of large or small cotyledon and micron value; there are significant negative correlations between the length of large or small cotyledon and fiber elongation; there is a significant negative correlation between the volume of small cotyledon and fiber elongation, while no significant correlation between the volume of large cotyledon and fiber elongation; there is a significant negative correlation between the transverse diameter of cotton boll and fiber length; there are significant positive correlations between fiber length, fiber strength and the shape index of cotton boll. The research indicated that it is possible and effective to indirectly select main quality traits of upland cotton using morphological characters in the field.

  The Present Status and Suggestions of Rating Management on Cultivated Land Productivity in Liyang City, Jiangsu Province 2012, 2 (3):  17-20.  Abstract + ( 1668 )   PDF ( 2013KB )   ( 1579 ) In order to provide basis for reasonable utilization of cultivated land and scientific fertilization, it is necessary to evaluate and classify fertility of cultivated land and make feasible suggestions for management. The studied area in this paper was Liyang City, Jiangsu Province, China, 12 factors such as soil parent material, texture, slope, aspect, type of barrier layer, insurance probability of irrigation water, modulus of surface drainage, PH, organic matter, available phosphorous, available potassium, water-soluble boron are selected as the evaluation factors. With the BFIS, a method in both quantitative and qualitative natures was developed to grade the farmland productive capacity, through correlation analysis, factor analysis, fuzzy evaluation, and hierarchic analysis respectively. With the support of software technology, the Cultivated Land Resource Management Information System (CLRMIS) and Geographic Information System (GIS) are used for dealing and combining all kinds of data on properties and spaces. The results showed that, the total area of cultivated land in Liyang City was 58611.1 hm2, which was divided into five levels, i.e., the 1st level with 9905.3 hm2 accounting for 16.9% of the total cultivated land area, the 2nd with 17759.1 hm2 for 30.3%, the 3rd with 22272.2 hm2 for38%, the 4th with 8557.2 hm2 for 14.60%, and the 5th with 117.3 hm2 for 0.2%. In sum, we can base on natural agents of cultivated land to evaluate its fertility with computer technology. The evaluation results can accurately reflect classification of land fertility, and overcome disadvantages of subjective method of classification by experience and avoid blindness of pure mathematical method. Besides, the evaluation results showed that the classification of fertility of cultivated land conforms to the reality of Liyang City, of which the land fertility was comparatively high. Suggestions based on management at different levels are considered to have pertinence and operability, and can be used in production application.

  The Status and Countermeasures of the Major Soil Resources Utilization in Sanjiang Plain 2012, 2 (3):  21-24.  Abstract + ( 1603 )   PDF ( 1611KB )   ( 1972 ) Sanjiang Plain is one of the important commodity grain bases of China. In order to explore the potential of the yield increase of Sanjiang Plain, the status and countermeasures of major soil resources utilization in agriculture of Sanjiang Plain area was analyzed. The author considered that there were various major soil types in Sanjiang Plain, especially the agriculture reserve soil resources, which was superior to other areas whether in the Heilongjiang Province or in China, had great potential for development. According to the current status of major soil resources utilization in Sanjiang Plain, the author suggested that the prerequisite of increase the local grain yield was to improve water conservancy construction; its guarantee was the cultivation of dominant crops; its the key is the improvement of low-yielding soil.

  Effects of Nearly 40 Years Climate Change of Shiyang River Basin on Agricultural Production Structure 2012, 2 (3):  25-30.  Abstract + ( 1640 )   PDF ( 1192KB )   ( 1563 ) In order to improve the people know climate warming to agricultural production the advantages and disadvantages of the relationship, grasp the main meteorological factors on food production, timely adjust agricultural planting structure, draw on advantages and avoid disadvantages, and to ensure that food to the purpose of the high and stable. Based on the Meteorological information by five Bureau of Meteorology in Shiyang River Basin from 1970 to 2009.1970-1989 for the first 20 years,1990-2009 years for the latter .Statistics the data of average temperature, precipitation, accumulated temperature, frost-free period and other relevant data in Year, month, spring (March to May), summer (June to August), autumn (September to November) and winter (November to February) four seasons, contrasted the first 20 years, with the latter 20 years. The average temperatures has increased by 1.0℃ that compared the latter 20 years to the first 20 year, and the warming spring > winter > summer and autumn. The average precipitation increased by 5.7 mm in recent 20 years .In the month location of the precipitation, decreased by 7.1 mm in June and increased by 4.4 mm in July averagely .The space-time location of the precipitation is not well balanced, In addition, there was a significant increase of the effective accumulated temperature and the frost-free period in recent 20 years, agricultural planting structure has changed. The sown areas of thermophilic crops such as corn, grape, cotton further expanded, the sown area of the happy cool crops like as the spring wheat, the spring rape reduces year by year. After wheat harvest, the restrictive affection of heat to intercropping, multiple cropping varieties greatly increase. The development trend of local agricultural production from one crop a year to two crops a year.

Using gerbera varieties 'Linda' ’s young receptacle as explants to tissue culture. The results showed that: the best sterilization time on explants was 12 minutes, the callus introduction medium for in vitro culture was MS(Murashige and Skoog) + 6-BA 5.0mg/L +NAA0.5mg/L+ surge3% + agar7%, the multiplication medium was MS+ 6-BA 1.0mg/L +NAA0.1mg/L+ surge3% + agar7%, the rooting medium was 1/2MS + NAA0.1mg/L + surge2%+ agar7%.

  The Correlation Studies of Seedling Age of Plantation and its Seedling Quality, Reproductive Stage, Commercial and Production in Broccoli 2012, 2 (3):  36-40.  Abstract + ( 1376 )   PDF ( 1112KB )   ( 1670 ) In order to improve the cultural techniques, definitude the relationship between the different seedling ages of plantation and its production and quality, strengthen the competitiveness of broccoli industry, we carried out the correlation studies of seedling age of plantation and its seedling quality, reproductive stage, commercial and production in Broccoli, and constructed the related regression mathematical models to provide the technical basis for cultivation of top quality and high production of broccoli. The results were as follow: with the increase of seedling age of plantation, the individual growth potential and biomass also increased, while the numbers of sound seedling showed a “few-many-few” characteristic. Meanwhile the vegetative stage, the curd and whole reproductive stage were longer and displayed a linear change trend. In addition, the bud density of curd, the rate of commercial curd and the production of curd displayed a “low-high-low” curve movement. The best seedling age of plantation of broccoli was 35-40 d, which could give consideration to both the high-quality and high-yield. By the analysis of the experiment results, the curve model between the different seedling age of plantation (d) and the sound seedling index (p), the linear models between seedling age of plantation (d) and the vegetative stage (e), the curd reproductive stage (f), the whole reproductive stage (g), the relational models between the different seedling age of plantation (d) and the bud density of curd (x), the rate of commercial curd (u), the production of curd (y) were built as follow: p=-0.0004d2+0.035d-0.3952, e=1.52d+40.66, f=0.3143d+24.714, g=1.8343x+65.381, x=-0.0901d2+6.4756d-41.614, u=-0.1037d2+7.5757d-46.929, y=-40.497d2+3089d-31257. We believed that rational use of these change laws and mathematical models would provide an opportunity to improve safe, excellence cultivation of broccoli efficiently.

  Effects of Organic Substrate Block on the Growth of Hot Pepper Seedling 2012, 2 (3):  41-43.  Abstract + ( 1802 )   PDF ( 1950KB )   ( 1674 ) To select suitable organic substrate block for the seedling culture of hot pepper by studying the effect of different organic substrates on the growth of hot pepper seedlings. Hot pepper seeds were sowed in two different organic substrate blocks (J1, J2) and one plug tray with organic substrate (J3). The period of emergency, emergency rate, seedling height, leaf area and chlorophyll content were measured. The period of emergence of hot pepper in the plug tray was one day earlier than that in the two organic substrate blocks, and there were no significant differences in emergence rate between J1 and J3, but the emergence rate in them was significantly higher than that in J2 (P<0.01). It also showed that J1 was more favorable for the growth of hot pepper seedlings because the plant height, leaf area, leaf quantity, chlorophyll content of seedlings were obviously higher than that in J2 and J3 (P<0.01). J1 was a kind of organic substrate block strengthening pepper seedlings in culture.

  Development of Health Beverage of Plumula nelumbinis and Chrysanthemum 2012, 2 (3):  44-49.  Abstract + ( 1515 )   PDF ( 1144KB )   ( 1960 ) For effective development and utilization of Plumula nelumbinis and Chrysanthemum, Plumula nelumbinis and Chrysanthemum were used as raw material. The ingredient and the processing technology of the health beverage was studied using single-factor and orthognal L9(34) design. Results showed the order of the primary factors on the sensory quality of the beverage was follows: Plumula nelumbinis dosage > sugar dosage > Chrysanthemum dosage > citric acid dosage. The optimum ingredient of health beverage found were: Plumula nelumbinis 0.8%, Chrysanthemum 0.4%, sugar 5.0%, and citric acid 0.08%. This beverage not only has good color, flavor and delicious taste, with a mild bitterness and the special aroma of Plumula nelumbinis and Chrysanthemum, but also has abundant nutrition, healthy function, and suitable for industrial production.

  Study on the Functional Activity of Pineapple Polysaccharide in vitro 2012, 2 (3):  50-53.  Abstract + ( 6769 )   PDF ( 1178KB )   ( 3232 ) Pineapple polysaccharide was extracted from pineapple peel to discuss the antioxidant function of polysaccharide pineapple in vitro. Hot water extraction was used to extract polysaccharide pineapple. The ability of pineapple polysaccharide to scavenge free radicals was studied by using hydroxyl radicals system, superoxide anion system and polysaccharide reductive ability system. Results showed that, using salicylic acid colorimetry to determine the ability of pineapple polysaccharide to scavenge hydroxyl radicals, when the concentration was 12 mg/mL, the scavenge rate reached 90%. While using pyrogallol autoxidation method to determine the ability of pineapple polysaccharide to scavenge the superoxide anion, when the concentration was 6 mg/mL, the clearance of super oxide anion reaches 80%. The reductive ability of pineapple polysaccharide was enhanced with its concentration was increased, and there was a good concentration-response relationship between the concentration and reductive ability.

  Preliminary Suggestion on Accelerating Animal Husbandry in Jiangsu Province 2012, 2 (3):  54-58.  Abstract + ( 1527 )   PDF ( 1136KB )   ( 1834 ) Animal husbandry is the important constituent of national economy, it has been the mainstay industry of agriculture in China after several decades’ development, and the pattern and level of animal industry determined the modernization of agriculture. Recently, Jiangsu’s animal husbandry locates in the essential stage towards modern animal husbandry, one of the important subjects is to transform the mode of production and enhance the industry level. In this paper, the recent developments of the world and the experience on modern animal husbandry in agricultural developed countries was reviewed, current situation of animal husbandry, the opportunities and challenge be faced in Jiangsu were analyzed, and preliminary suggestion on acceleration of Jiangsu modern animal husbandry industry was presented.

  Study on Cultivation Mode of Water-saving of Cotton by Drip Irrigation under Mulch-film in Northwest Area 2012, 2 (3):  59-64.  Abstract + ( 1583 )   PDF ( 1170KB )   ( 1487 ) Total of six drip-irrigation volumes (m3) per hectare including 2250 m3, 2550 m3, 2850 m3, 3150 m3, 3600 m3 and 4200 m3 were determined for the water physiology study of a new cotton cultivar ‘Jiumian8’ under the 180000~330000 plants per hectare of the cultivating density in the experimental field choiced at Minqin of Gansu Province. After two days of each drip-irrigation, the volume water content (VWC) under the soil layers of 20 cm, 40 cm, 60 cm, 80 cm and 100 cm were measured by the WET-HH2 conductivity meter of the soil water and temperature, respectively. Then established standards mode for local drought habitat under drip irrigation by observing the interval time when soil VWC dropped to 20%. The results showed that the VWC under the soil layers from 20 cm to 60 cm significantly suffered from the soil natural evaporation and the transpiration of cotton plants. The yield of the seed cotton was highest up to 4414.5 kg per hectare under the 3600 m3 of drip-irrigation volumes per hectare, which was the optimal drip-irrigation volume for the special early maturing cotton area in Minqin. In the production of standard drip irrigation mode was: total of 8 times of the drip irrigation in the whole growth stages was from the first time 20, June to the last time 30, August, drip-irrigation 300-525 m3 per hectare and drip-irrigation intervals was 8-15 days at different growth stages.

  Literature Analysis on GAP Bases for Chinese Crude Drugs in China 2012, 2 (3):  65-70.  Abstract + ( 1544 )   PDF ( 1169KB )   ( 2025 ) Abstract: This study explored the basic characteristics of the current Chinese medicine GAP stations established in China and provided the suggestions for the building of future GAP stations. The study used the survey results of ten Chinese medicine GAP stations recognized by China National Food and Drug Administration Bureau. The SPSS17.0 statistical software was used in analysis of literature characteristics. The study showed the following facts: At this moment, China has 74 Chinese medicine GAP stations, which are related to 44 companies and distributed in 118 counties; there are 244 plantation districts and 52 medicine varieties; five counties have more than three GAP stations (4.2%); 14 GAP stations have more than five medicine varieties (26.9%); the distinguished companies with large GAP stations and high diversity of medicine varieties are: Beijing Tongren Tang, Henan Nanyang Zhang Zhongjing, Sichuan Ya-an Sanjiu Chinese Medicine, etc. Conclusion: Although the companies are large, less companies have participated the China Chinese medicine GAP station business. The GAP stations are not well developed. GAP stations are too sparsely distributed and in small scale. The medicine plantation lands are not large enough. The medicine varieties are not diversified.

Inheritance, evolution, and application of agricultural proverb were proposed. Agricultural proverb varied with the development of the times, and it would exist forever.   The New Development Strategy of Japan Agricultural Cooperative and Its Revelation to China 2012, 2 (3):  74-78.  Abstract + ( 1507 )   PDF ( 1138KB )   ( 1689 ) The Japan agriculture cooperative（JA）played an important role in the agricultural industrialization. Because of the change of the agricultural environment, the JA also faces many challenges, such as non-agricultural members, ageing of population. By the retrospect and introduction of new developmental strategies which are adopted by JA with the intention of accustoming to new situations, the article promotes in-depth analysis into the intrinsic reforming in order to keep a more perspicacious perspective of the future development of JA. China should study the new strategies of the JA, and potentiate the related facilities from the general prospective, so as to promote the development of the agricultural industrialization.
