  Banana Plantlets Physiological Responses to High-concentration SO2 2012, 2 (2):  1-4.  Abstract + ( 1458 )   PDF ( 1876KB )   ( 1449 ) Change of leaf structure, proline and total sulfur content have been study for the banana plantlet treated with SO2 at the different initial concentration level of 0, 1, 2, 5 g/m3. The result showed leaves and leaf cells suffered injury, the total sulfur content and proline content in leaf increased with the increasing SO2 dosage, and protoplasm letting out, cell shrinking, and cytoskeleton damaged. Special unknown red substance produced in cell because of damage by SO2. The results suggested that the production of red substance maybe the only reaction by SO2, and it can be applied for the identification of SO2 pollution as an accessorial tool. The normal growth status when absorb 1.5 times sulfur showed banana plantlet’s decontamination to SO2. The same time, plantlet sulfur content was linear with proline content when treated with SO2.

  Screening and Evaluating of the New Flue-cured Tobacco Varieties in Liupanshui Region Guizhou Province 2012, 2 (2):  5-8.  Abstract + ( 1746 )   PDF ( 508KB )   ( 1611 ) The growth periods, agronomy characters, economic characters, leaf appearance qualities, and smoking qualities of six variety ‘Zhongyan103’, ‘Zhongyan104’, ‘Zhongyan203’, ‘Nanjiang3’, ‘Jiucaiping2’ and ‘Yunyan87’ (CK) were studied to select the adaptive tobacco varieties for planting in Liupanshui region in 2009 and 2010 years. The results showed that the yield and output value of ‘Nanjiang3’ were 2498.55 kg/hm2 and 30875.09 yuan/hm2 respectively, and 28.17% and 27.45% higher than that of control. ‘Zhongyan203’ had the highest average price and proportions of top and middle class tobacco leaves than control, 12.76 yuan/kg and 87.00% respectively, 2.90% and 3.02% higher than that of control. Based on the botanic characteristics, economic characters, outward appearance and smoking qualities, ‘Nanjiang3’ and ‘Zhongyan203’ should be recommended in Liupanshui region.

  Meteorological Factors Assessment of Wheat Growing Period Based on Fuzzy Evaluation Method 2012, 2 (2):  9-12.  Abstract + ( 1342 )   PDF ( 667KB )   ( 1563 ) Based on temperature, natural precipitation and sunshine time, the suitability degree of meteorological factors in wheat growing stage were analyzed. It can provide theoretical foundation for the quantitative evaluation of crop climate. Based on fuzzy mathematics theory, the membership function model of temperature, precipitation and sunshine time for wheat were established and calculated to estimate the climatic suitability to wheat quantitatively. The meteorological factors during growth and development of wheat in 2008, 2009 and multi-annual average climatic data were calculated. The results indicated that the suitability degree for the temperature was relative high except in the reproductive growth phase, the suitability degree for the sunshine was relative high in whole growing stage, but for the precipitation was low with large variable extents. These explained that the sunshine was able to satisfy the growth and development of wheat. The lack of the natural precipitation and lower temperature in the reproductive growth phase were limited factors for the formation of the wheat yield. Dynamic model for crop climatic suitability degree based on fuzzy mathematics theory can objective reflect the suitability degree of meteorological factors for crop growth, and it can provide the basis for the improvement of weather service quality.

  Comparative Study on No-tillage Late Direct-Seeding varieties of Brassica napus L. in Western plain of Sichuan 2012, 2 (2):  13-17.  Abstract + ( 1349 )   PDF ( 554KB )   ( 1454 ) There are continuous rainy days in autumnal in Western plain of Sichuan, to avoid the impact of Wet Injury in sowing days and to screen new varieties of Brassica napus L. with low erucidic acid and glucosinolate content, suitable for no-tillage late direct-seeding in Western plain of Sichuan. Ten varieties of Brassica napus L. were screened by randomized block design with triplicated plot, no-tillage late direct-seeding and straw mulching. The results showed superiority of varieties ‘Chuanyou 58’, ‘Huayouza 10’ and ‘Ningza 11’ over the other varieties as revealed by high-yield(over 3000 kg/hm2), short growth stage, better resistance, quality and integrated traits; varieties ‘Huayouza 13’ and ‘Zheshuang 3’ have high yield potential(over 2775 kg/hm2), better resistance and quality, moderate growth stage; the other varieties have significant yield reduction less than control, poor expression of comprehensive characters and resistance. The excellent varieties of the middle and lower Yangtze River such as ‘Huayouza 10’, ‘Ningza 11’, ‘Huayouza 13’ and ‘Zheshuang 3’ etc. could successful introduce and large area plant in Western plain of Sichuan.

  Effect of 60Co-γ Ray Radiation on the Seed Germination Rate and Growth of Paeonia suffruticosa Seedling 2012, 2 (2):  18-20.  Abstract + ( 1497 )   PDF ( 537KB )   ( 1581 ) The seeds of Paeonia suffruticosa were radiated by the different dosages of 60Co-γ ray, and the seed germination rate and seedling growth were observed, which were to lucubrate radioactive breeding of Paeonia suffruticosa, which were to resolve radiation dosages of Paeonia suffruticosa, and which were to select choiceness and new variety of Paeonia suffruticosa having economy value. The results showed that the seed germination rate increased along with the increase of radiation dosage at 8.73-17.46 Gy, and 17.46 Gy was tiptop, but the seed germination rate decreased at 17.46-52.38 Gy. The emergence rate, seedling height, and root length of seeds which were radiated were higher than CK. The emergence rate was 92.4%, and seedling height was 6.65 cm when radiation dosage was 17.46 Gy. Radiation could promote seedling growth and could make the germination rate increased. 17.46 Gy was suitable for the peony seeds based on the influence of germination rate and seedling growth. There was no obvious effect on the root length by the dosage of 60Co-γ ray.

  Survey Research on Species of Predatory Natural Enemy in Paddy Ecosystem of Tongliao Areas 2012, 2 (2):  21-25.  Abstract + ( 1400 )   PDF ( 536KB )   ( 1991 ) In order to solve biological control and ecological control techniques to paddy pests, predators as materials, we studied the predatory natural enemy of paddy using the field survey, collecting specimens and indoor identification method. The results showed that there were 59 predator species belonging to 20 families in paddy ecosystem of Tongliao Areas. Among of them, 32 species of insect belonging to 10 families, 5 orders, 25 species of spider belonging to 9 families and 2 species of frog belonging to Ranidae were identified. The five insect orders were Odonata, Mantodea, Neuroptera, Hemiptera and Coleoptera separately. The dominant species were Cyrtorrhinus lividipennis Reuter, Paederus fuscipes Curtis, Propylea japonica (Thunberg), Erigonidium graminicolum (Sundevall) and Agelena difficilis Fox. They accounted for 45.5% of the total of predatory natural enemy.

  Progress on the Treatment Technology for Fruit and Vegetable Wastes 2012, 2 (2):  26-30.  Abstract + ( 1555 )   PDF ( 504KB )   ( 2208 ) Discussed the characteristics and the utilization of the fruit and vegetable wastes, summarized domestic and international fruit and vegetable wastes treatment technology in the past five years, found that anaerobic fermentation have a certain fermentation equipment requirements, fruit and vegetable wastes mixed with manure is a processing trend. Aerobic composting requires less equipment and operation management than anaerobic fermentation, composting fruit and vegetable wastes and manure improved the quality significantly. Microbial inoculation natural retting and feeding-protein producing by solid-fermentation from vegetable wastes also discussed. Comparing the advantages and disadvantages of various processing techniques, through the results of fixed fermentation and the field test, provided new ideas of processing fruit and vegetable wastes.

  Influence of Long Term Fertilization on Crops Output of Root Crops (Sweet Potato) in Three Typical Parent Material Soil in South Hunan 2012, 2 (2):  31-34.  Abstract + ( 1930 )   PDF ( 510KB )   ( 1555 ) The influence of 28 years fertilization into soil on crops outputs of root crops (sweet potato) was studied in three typical parent material soils in South Hunan under long-term location test. The results showed that: Among the three typical parent material soils, the yield of sweet potato planted in purple soil was the best (the highest annual output), and NPK treatment was the best in purple soil (the highest annual output). With planting sweet potatoes in the three types of parent material soils, CK treatment was the worst. The root yield (underground) of sweet potato planted in purple soils was in sequence of NPK > OM > CK, while the root yield (underground) of sweet potato planted in quatenary red soil or granitization red soil was in sequence of OM > NPK > CK. Among the NPK treatment in quaternary red soil and granitization red soil, 80% of that had no output, only the region near the edge of district cement stalk could find sweet potato grow. Among the root yield (underground) of sweet potatoes planted in three parent material soils (6 treatments in each parent material), the treatment of upground crop straw returning to field was better than the treatment of removing the upground crop straw away.

  The Study of the Relationship Between DBH and Height of the Coastal Protection Forest of Pinus elliotii E. in Southeast of China 2012, 2 (2):  35-41.  Abstract + ( 1500 )   PDF ( 997KB )   ( 1626 ) In order to provide guidance and basis for protecting coastal forests, sampling survey was conducted to study and analyze the coastal forests of Pinus elliotii E. in southeast of China. And 6 widely used theoretical growth equations, which were Logistics, Gompertz, Weibull, S curve, Second curve and Richards, were used to establish the correlation between breast and height in DPS. The results indicated that compared with other equations, the relation value R of Logistics equation was maximum (0.9618) and surplus square sum was minimum (96.599). Therefore, Logistics equation fits the correlation of Pinus elliotii E. between breast and height better than others, which was more fitted to establish tree breast-height diameter growth model of Pinus elliotii E.. And Weibull equation was little less than Logistics one. The Logistics model was suitable for the forest of Pinus elliotii E. in southeast of China, and might be applied to other protection forests.

  Study on the Tissue Culture and Rapid Propagation of Zantedeschia hybida ‘Gaoyuan’ wang 2012, 2 (2):  42-45.  Abstract + ( 1287 )   PDF ( 1748KB )   ( 1410 ) The bulbs of Zantedeschia hybrida ‘Gaoyuan’ were used as explants to study the tissue culture and rapid propagation, screen the best culture medium for rapid propagation. The results showed that the best disinfectant time by 0.1% HgCl2 was 15 min. The best medium for callus induction was MS+0.5 mg/L 6-BA+0.1-0.2 mg/L NAA. Callus would grow into cluster buds, and the buds grew well with new callus proliferation in the medium of MS+2.0 mg/L 6-BA+0.2 mg/L NAA. In the medium of 1/2MS +0.2 mg/L NAA+10% banana, the rooting was 100%, and the roots grew thick, strong and thriving. Provide a reference for the system of rapid propagation and large-scale production on Zantedeschia hybrida.

  Studies on the Growth of the Seeding and Its Mathematical Model of Plug Seedlings in Brassica oleracea var. italica 2012, 2 (2):  46-53.  Abstract + ( 1474 )   PDF ( 674KB )   ( 1701 ) In order to reform the traditional heavy seedling technique Brassica oleracea var. italica, it revealed the growth rules of plug seedlings in Brassica oleracea var. italica, promoting industrialization and improve quality plug seedlings in Brassica oleracea var. italica, and applying with hole tray of different specifications and matrix, with such impact application, the experimental results showed the seed germination rate increased and the order at any time a curve change rule, the mathematical model was that y=25.431+20.783d-1.3811d 2 (r=0.9919**, r0.01=0.7348); seedlings at any time sequence, the high growth and a slow-fast-slow change rule, the mathematical model was that h=-0.0008d2+0.3856d-0.7077 (r=0.9882**, r0.01=0.7348); seedlings stem diameter was always the sequence to increase and the growth in the first slow, quick growth rule, the mathematical model was that S=0.0332d+0.6471 (r=0.9877**, r0.01=0.7348). The main influence factors on seedling growth over a matrix, basal and climate, using the growth rule and model or adjusting determined comprehensively seedling technique measures had the important instruction meaning.

  Effects of Allelopathy in Lagenaria siceraria var. hispida Leaf Water Extract on Vegetable 2012, 2 (2):  54-57.  Abstract + ( 1320 )   PDF ( 606KB )   ( 1505 ) The allelopathy of Lagenaria siceraria var. hispida leaf water extract on cucumber, radish and tomato was studied by adopting indoor petri dish bioassay in order to provide the scientific basis of continuous cropping barrier solution in production practice. The results showed that water extract of leaf had significant inhibiting effects on seed germination rate of cucumber, radish in concentrations of 10 g/L, 50 g/L and 90 g/L. The germination rate of cucumber, radish was lower than control. The seed germination rate of tomato was increased at lower concentrations, and decreased at higher concentration. Plant height and fresh weight of cucumber were inhibited in all concentrations. The plant height and fresh weight of radish and tomato were inhibited in 90 g/L, and stimulated in 10 g/L, 50 g/L. The water extract of leaf had significant inhibiting effects in all concentrations on root of cucumber and radish. The roots of tomato were stimulated in 10 g/L and inhibited in 50 g/L, 90 g/L. It was suggested that Lagenaria siceraria var. hispida should be intercropped with tomato and radish, while should be avoided to intercrop with cucumber.

  Comparison of the Analysis of the Chemical Components in Henan and Brazil Flue-cured Tobacco Leaves wei fengjie 2012, 2 (2):  58-63.  Abstract + ( 1634 )   PDF ( 766KB )   ( 2346 ) In order to provide the basis information for the discordant chemical components of flue-cured tobacco in Henan, the chemical components leaves were determined and compared in Henan and Brazil flue-cured tobacco. The volatile aromatic component was determined by gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC/MS) and a routine chemical component was tested by flow analyzer. The results showed that: the soluble total sugar average contents was 22.18% and the reducing sugar average contents was 20.94% in Henan. The average value of the nicotine, total nitrogen and potassium in Henan were 1.87%, 2.26% and 1.84%. The coefficient of variation of the ratio of potassium chloride was large, instable. The soluble total sugar average contents was 17.82% and the reducing sugar average contents was 19.52% in Brazil. The average value of the nicotine, total nitrogen and potassium in Henan were 2.15%, 3.00% and 2.57%. The coefficient of variation of the ratio of potassium chloride was small, stable. The total contents of aroma compositions of tobacco leaves in Brazil were 985.36-1222.9 μg/g and those were 772.4-1103.19 μg/g in Henan. The higher dissolutions of content of flue-cured tobacco in Brazil was neophytadiene, phenylalanine, carotenoid and cembranenoid, The dissolutions of browning reaction of flue-cured tobacco in Henan was the higher than in Brazil.

  Fujian County Economic Development and the Strategy 2012, 2 (2):  64-69.  Abstract + ( 1270 )   PDF ( 690KB )   ( 1841 ) This article reviewed and analyzed the current state and major characteristics of Fujian’s county economic development since the Tenth Five-Year Plan. It suggested that Fujian’s county economy has entered a new developmental stage since Fujian provincial government proposed to construct the economic zone on the west side of the Taiwan Straits in 2004, which has become one of China’s main regional development strategies. The contribution of Fujian’s county economy to provincial economy was increasing year by year, and county economy has become an important support for provincial economic growth. However, comparing with other provinces in the eastern region such as Guangdong and Zhejiang, Fujian was still lagging far behind in the scale and competitiveness of county economy. This article pointed out several problems of Fujian’s county economic development, such as the weak foundation for growth, small scale of economy, unbalanced distribution, and the limited ability to gather market resources at the county level. More importantly, this article proposed several countermeasures, including further strengthening and expanding leading industries and specialty industries, advancing private economy, promoting system innovation, and improving counties’ inner growing force.

  Problems and Countermeasures of Farmer’s Microfinance of China Postal Savings Bank: A Case Study of Qihe Branch 2012, 2 (2):  70-73.  Abstract + ( 1501 )   PDF ( 489KB )   ( 1777 ) Postal savings bank (POSB) is different from the commercial banks in general sense. Its market localization is retail financial services oriented to individuals. With the original relative superiority, farmer’s microfinance will become the strategic business and symbolic products of POSB. But there were also some problems during the process of microfinance development. In order to facilitate the healthy development of microfinance in post saving bank, choose Qihe branch as a case study, a detailed survey on farmer’s microfinance was made. It was found that the main problems of farmer’s microfinance were weak loan administration, inadaptation between loans limit, repayment means and customer demands, the unreasonable credit evaluation way, as well as information asymmetry. Based on the main problems, the author put forward several advices, which included enhancing farmer’s microfinance management power for the client, formulating rational loan limit and repayment schedule, strengthening credit environment construction, and also expanding channels of communication.

  On the Voting Rights of Mental Patients in China Present Rural Areas 2012, 2 (2):  74-78.  Abstract + ( 1237 )   PDF ( 529KB )   ( 1380 ) This article aims to explore people's right to vote of mental illness in rural area, to try to make people vote to achieve such improvement measures. This article compares the mental health crowd of medical standards and legal standards while, at the Beijing suburbs around the issues of small sample survey. The analysis revealed that mental illness people's medical standards and legal standards have a greater difference; Currently, there are some obstacle on the implementation of the right to vote of rural mental patients, the reasons are: the incompleteness of the system itself, the lack of public understanding of mental patients and the convergence of mental patient classification system and bad electoral system; to protect the vote right of people with mental illness in rural has social value and legal value. Measures to solve the problem are: establish a registration system for rural mental illness patients, construction of a difference between the systems of rural mental illness patients and have a sound monitoring mechanism to vote.
