Abstract: Zoonosis is extremely important for biological security. The current situation of zoonosis was summarized in this paper. Pathogen leakage from medical, teaching and scientific institutions was becoming more and more frequent, which polluted the environment and contributed to human infections. Ordinary people, even practitioners, lacked professional knowledge and skills to solve those accidents and problems. To promote innovation of associated curriculum, the authors suggested that the key points of current zoonosis course in agricultural university should be as follows: (1) strengthening theoretical base of flu or other zoonosis, and paying more attention to the training of biological safety protection and emergency handling; (2) improving education quality, teaching safety and attention on zoonosis, and the teaching object should also include both university student and ordinary people.
