Abstract: The study aims to respond to environmental changes at home and abroad, and promote the economy of Heilongjiang Province toward a consumption- led economic growth model. In this paper, based on the economic data of Heilongjiang Province over the years, the authors used the OLS method to study factors affecting the consumption growth. The results showed that, at present, to improve the urbanization rate and narrow the income gap between urban and rural areas could effectively stimulate consumption growth in Heilongjiang Province, thus to raise the economic growth rate. The authors also put forward recommendations on this basis.
