Abstract: In order to understand the effect of phosphorous and potassium fertilizer on the quality of Chrysanthemum coronarium, a container experiment was conducted to study the concentrations of vitamin C, reducing sugar, and amino acid of C. coronarium combined application of different phosphorus (P) levels and different potassium (K) fertilizers. The main results showed that: combined application of the same level of P fertilizer and different K fertilizers, the concentration of vitamin C in C. coronarium decreased in this order: KH2PO4>KNO3>KCl>K2SO4>CK, the concentration of reducing sugar decreased in this order: KH2PO4>K2SO4>KNO3>KCl>CK, and the concentration of amino acid decreased following in the order: KH2PO4>KNO3>CK>K2SO4>KCl. When combined application of the same K fertilizer and different P levels, we found that the concentration of vitamin C, reducing sugar and amino acid increased with higher P level. In addition, the concentrations of vitamin C, reducing sugar and amino acid were highest combined application of KH2PO4 and high P fertilizer.
