Abstract: The development process and mode of leisure agriculture at home and abroad were introduced in this article. Four successful experiments were analyzed such as forceful support from the government, promoting from the guild and non- government organization, producing various and characteristic products focusing on cultural connotation, adopting appropriate supply mode. On this basis, the reasons of the sluggish development of leisure agriculture in Hainan were discussed. Thus, the successful mode and experiment should be studied and utilized to develop the leisure agriculture in Hainan. For example, the effect of the government should be performed enough and establish wholesome policies and regulations, as well as the resource could be used more reasonably with cultural connotation. So, the effective marketing strategy were also necessary to quickly, healthy and sustainable develop the leisure agriculture in Hainan.
