Abstract: In order to elucidate the influence of lead on the physiological characteristics of large-leaf Pu’er tea plant seeding, the author carried pot experiments by using large-leaf Pu’er tea seeding as test material to explore the effects of heavy metal lead stress on chlorophyll content and protective enzymes. The result showed that when lead concentration was 0-600 mg/L, chlorophyll content increased first and then decreased. The activities of CAT and POD went up at the beginning of lead stress, but they were decreased as the quantity of lead increasing. The activities of SOD showed the downtrend as the quantity of lead increasing, while the MDA content increased all the time. The result suggested that Pb stimulated the seeding growth of large-leaf Pu’er tea at the lower concentrations, and restrained the seeding growth at higher concentrations.
