Abstract: The authors analyzed the climate change features in Yunnan in nearly 50 years based on the meteorological data of the average temperature, minimum temperature, maximum temperature and the precipitation from 25 stations in Yunnan during 1961-2010. The results showed that: (1) the warming trend was significant in Yunnan with the heating rate of 0.24℃/10 a; (2) the warming trend was most significant in winter, and the temperature had approximately equal increasing magnitude in spring, summer and autumn; (3) the annual precipitation showed a slight decrease trend, and the change of long- term trend was not significant; the annual precipitation showed a periodic fluctuation change with bigger inter-annual variation; (4) the annual average precipitation days showed a downward trend, thereinto, light rain days decreased most significantly, moderate rain days slightly decreased, heavy rain and storm days presented slightly increasing trend; (5) annual precipitation intensity showed an overall upward trend.
