Abstract:

The paper aims to study the influence of Myrica rubra dome pergola cultivation mode on fruit quality, and to solve the problem of fruit quality degradation caused by rain and drosophila in the mature stage of M. rubra, so as to lay a foundation for the sustainable and healthy development of M. rubra industry. Using ‘Dongkui’ M. rubra as the test material, the dome pergola cultivation test of M. rubra was carried out in Qingtian, Zhejiang Province in 2016, and the physical and chemical indexes of fruit during harvest period were measured and compared. Compared with open field cultivation, the single fruit weight, fruit firmness, soluble solids, total sugar, Vc content and sweetness of M. rubra under dome pergola cultivation mode were increased by 10.3%, 19.2%, 10.5%, 17.6%, 20.3% and 17.8% respectively. Meanwhile, the titratable acid content was decreased by 24.5% and the worm fruit rate was reduced by 92.0%. The dome pergola cultivation mode of M. rubra could achieve the effect of a shelter from rain and preventing insects, thus improving the fruit quality and effectively promoting the green and efficient production of M. rubra.
