Abstract:
The nutritional status on leaves of loquat (Eriobotrya japonica ‘Zaozhong 6’ and ‘Donghuzao’) was compared, and their characteristics of nutrient absorption were probed. The results showed that the contents of the nitrogen, soluble protein, chlorophyll and carotenoids of loquat leaves on spring shoots in variety ‘Donghuzao’ were all significantly higher than in variety ‘Zaozhong 6’. However, there were no significant difference of leaves on summer, autumn and winter shoots between two loquat varieties. There was no significant difference of the contents of phosphorus of leaves on spring, summer, autumn and winter shoots between two loquat varieties. The contents of potassium of leaves on spring shoots of two loquat varieties had no significant difference. While, the contents of potassium of leaves on autumn and winter shoots in variety ‘Donghuzao’ were all significantly higher than in variety ‘Zaozhong 6’, summer shoots significantly lower. The absorption peak of nitrogen of two loquat varieties were both in winter shoots, and that of phosphorus and potassium were both in spring shoots.
