Abstract:

In order to research the soil carbon cycle rules in the main area of evergreen broad-leaved forest in Wuyi Mountain, the seasonal changes of soil organic carbon (SOC), microbial biomass carbon (MBC) and profile distributions at different horizon soil were studied in 2010 and 2011. Furthermore, the relationship among MBC, SOC, qMB was discussed. And environmental factors which influenced it was found. The results showed that MBC and SOC contented in the soil were higher in summer and autumn than in spring and winter, while the seasonal changes of SOC was not significantly different. MBC and SOC of the G1 (0-10 cm) soil were higher than those in G2 (10-20 cm) and G3 (20-30 cm). MBC and SOC were not evidently different between in G2 and G3. The content trend for MBC and SOC decreased from up to down. MBC, SOC and qMB contented in 0-30 cm soil showed a significant correlation (P<0.01). It was indicated that the surface accumulation of the soil organic carbon was high and affected MBC obviously.
