Rural Environment Education of Low-carbon Perspective

Abstract:

In order to protect ecology and environment in rural areas, building low-carbon country and "resource-saving and environment-friendly" society, improve capacity of rural social and economic sustainable development, we have researched the environmental education in rural areas. Then, we have summarized questions of environmental education in current rural areas of China, such as less forms or means, inadequate policy support, low capacity environmental education, etc. Finally, we have proposed improvements as following: innovate more ways of environmental education, conduct various forms of environmental education, innovative environmental form of publicity, strengthen the legal system of rural environmental education, train rural primary and secondary school teachers and staffs of environmental protection, improve abilities of rural environmental education and enhance guidance to promote low-carbon agricultural technology.
