Literature Analysis on GAP Bases for Chinese Crude Drugs in China

Abstract:

Abstract: This study explored the basic characteristics of the current Chinese medicine GAP stations established in China and provided the suggestions for the building of future GAP stations. The study used the survey results of ten Chinese medicine GAP stations recognized by China National Food and Drug Administration Bureau. The SPSS17.0 statistical software was used in analysis of literature characteristics. The study showed the following facts: At this moment, China has 74 Chinese medicine GAP stations, which are related to 44 companies and distributed in 118 counties; there are 244 plantation districts and 52 medicine varieties; five counties have more than three GAP stations (4.2%); 14 GAP stations have more than five medicine varieties (26.9%); the distinguished companies with large GAP stations and high diversity of medicine varieties are: Beijing Tongren Tang, Henan Nanyang Zhang Zhongjing, Sichuan Ya-an Sanjiu Chinese Medicine, etc. Conclusion: Although the companies are large, less companies have participated the China Chinese medicine GAP station business. The GAP stations are not well developed. GAP stations are too sparsely distributed and in small scale. The medicine plantation lands are not large enough. The medicine varieties are not diversified.
