Abstract: To accurately quantize and scientifically evaluate the capacity of sustainable development on fisheries industry of Dengta City, a synthesized evaluation system is established based on some data on fisheries industry from 2000 to 2010. This system consists of 4 subsystems (economy, environment, resource and society) and 16 indexes. Selected 2000 as the base year, through the calculated the change of every index and synthesized evaluation by means of weighted calculation during the years (2000-2011), the conclusion is that every index on fisheries industry of Dengta had a considerable development with the tendency of a progressive increase year by year, reflecting the sustainable development of fisheries industry in Dengta has been greatly enhanced and will be well developed in future. The finding in this paper, not only for well understanding the comprehensive competitiveness on fisheries industry of Dengta has a significant impact, but also in the promotion of a comprehensive, coordinated and sustainable development of great significance.
