Abstract: With the acceleration of urbanization, the function of urban roads and the green spaces of urban road is more and more richer. The concept of ecological proposes a higer demand and gives a new meaning for road landscape design. In the design process of Wenyu landscape, I encountered problems. Through literature collection and think, I present some thoughts on urban road landscape design . Functions of urban green space has been re- understanding. It not only beautifies the road road green , riches urban landscape level , cleans air and separates vehicle traffic , but also a link to contact the urban environment ,and provides humane nature conservation space and a guarantee for the safety of urban road green space . It should conside that the impact of the width of the green belt, the microclimate characteristics of urban road formation , the harm of environmental pollution, behavioral characteristics of road users and original creatures living environment. Choosing the right trees materials is good for making better landscape. Also we can take advantage of green space and design combined with the surrounding environment to create beautiful, eco- road landscape.
