Abstract: Rice black-streaked dwarf virus (RBSDV) and rice stripe virus (RSV) are two epidemic diseases in Yancheng of Jiangsu province during the last 10 years. In order to solve this problem, the authors investigated the disaster laws, prevention and control technologies of this two plant diseases systematically. The laws of Laodelphax striatellus Fallén ( small brown planthopper,SBPH) occurrence, toxin transmission and disease epidemic, disease resistance or tolerance of some varieties of rice, control measures as well as insect net barrier, appropriate late sowing and plowing have been made clear. A group of efficient and harmfulless pesticides were selected to control the small brown planthopper and the two virus diseases. And for reference, a set of SBPH, RBSDV, RSV control and hazard mitigation technologies are proposed in this paper which are practical sustainable and easy to operate for the local planting patterns.
