Abstract: The paper summarized the research advancement of dietary supplement such as polysaccharide, saponins, flavonoids, fatty acids, alkaloids, polyphenols, enzymes, bioactive peptide, nucleic acids, etc. The market status in China was outlined. And also some solutions to solve the problem of food supplement were suggested.
