  Effect of Sowing Dates on Agronomic Character, Yield and Quality of the Main Stalks and Tillers in Wheat 2013, 3 (8):  1-6.  Abstract + ( 1088 )   PDF ( 1299KB )   ( 1320 ) In order to provide a theoretical for high yield and quality of wheat, the study of effect of sowing dates on agronomic character, yield and quality of the main stalks and tillers in ‘Linyou7287’. The results showed that, sowing the delayer, the less tillers of wheat. The wheat had no tilling up to 50% sowing on October 13 and 18. Grains per ear and 1000-grain weight of the main stalks were more than tillers in different sowing dates. When the wheat had one tiller, grains per ear of main stem was 37.2 sowing on October 13, 1000-grain weight of main stem was 45.46 g sowing on October 3. Glutein content and total protein content of tillers were more than the main stalks. When the wheat had two tillers, glutein content of Ⅱ was 4.40% sowing on October 3. Total protein content of Ⅱ was 12.33% sowing on October 8. Processing quality of tillers was superior to the main stalks in different sowing dates. The Evaluation value was 50 in Ⅱ of two tillers sowing on October 3 and Ⅰ of sowing on October 13 and 18. Starch pasting properties of the main stem relatively poor, we should choose a multi-tillering-panicle varieties, cultivation and management, or adopt the necessary measures to ensure that low-tiller into the ear, not only high-yield and high quality.

  Research About Technology of Soaking and Seed Fattening on Corn in Cold Areas wang lebao 2013, 3 (8):  7-10.  Abstract + ( 1014 )   PDF ( 1214KB )   ( 1052 ) In recent years, the technology of soaking and seeds fattening has been applied in agricultural production of corn in cold area, and those two technology has been achieved good economic and social benefits. In order to study on the suitable seed soaking agent and seed dressing agent of the corn in Hulin area, in this paper, five kinds of soaking, seed dressing reagents of corn in cold area has been applied. The results showed that, the yield of plant cold-resistant agent increased significantly, the increase rate was 15.9%; the second yield increased was the treatment of carbon 2%, the increase rate was 7.8%. In seed fattening test, the yield of OMES311 treatment increased significantly, the increase rate was 10.2%; the second yield increased was the treatment of carbon 2%, the increase rate was 9.7%.

  Studied on Relationship on the Sorghum Density and Yield Under Different Width Row Space with Narrow Row Space and Same Row Space Culture 2013, 3 (8):  11-13.  Abstract + ( 1503 )   PDF ( 1207KB )   ( 1972 ) the Relationship of sorghum density and yield under different width row space with narrow row space and same row space were studied by the method of two element resourceful test. For exploring high yield and plant way of sorghum and increasing sorghum farming economic results and multiple crop index of land. The results showed that: the yield of width row space with narrow row space was significantly higher same row space, increasing yield 7%-11%. The yield of sorghum reduced according the width row space with narrow row space increasing according under same density. Density of the width row space with narrow row space, plant reduced by 10% than the same row space plant under same yield, which could effectively control lodging and raise the quality of sorghum.

  Study on the Effect of Seedling Transplanting in Water Absorbent Matrix on Growth Charicteristics of Hybrid Millet 2013, 3 (8):  14-16.  Abstract + ( 1048 )   PDF ( 1173KB )   ( 1056 ) Zhangjiakou area which is located along the great wall belongs to semi-arid area with only 350-400 mm average annual precipitation. The contradiction between farmland water shortage and crop water requirement limits agricultural development of the area, therefore, its key measure for agricultural sustainable development to apply and conserve limited rain resources. ‘Zhangzagu’ hybrid millet which is the achievement made by our academy with independent intellectual property rights has been promoted nearly 67.5 million hm2 in arid and semi-arid area in North China. To maximize yield potential of hybrid millet, this experiment took ‘Zhangzagu’ hybrid mille and Hamming brand water retaining agent as test material and used single factor completely random design method to study the effect of seedling transplanting with different radio of water retaining agent and soil on growth characteristics of hybrid millet. Experiment result showed that the most suitable ratio of base material combined water retaining agent and soil was 1:100.

  Effect of Light Quality on the Growth and Vitality of Peanut Seedling Root System 2013, 3 (8):  17-20.  Abstract + ( 1249 )   PDF ( 1181KB )   ( 1525 ) This study aimed to explore the effect of Light quality on the growth and vitality of peanut root system based on indoor monochromatic light. The results showed that, compared with Natural light, Red light (610-660nm) could promote the growth and development of peanut seedling root system significantly, much longer main and lateral root length, more lateral root numbers, more dry matter accumulation, stronger root vitality; Blue light (445-470nm) had significant inhibition on the growth of root system, less root distribution range, but stronger root vitality; Yellow light (590-595nm) and Green light (515-520nm) could inhibit the growth of peanut seedling root system and lower root vitality.

  Studies on the distribution of Bemisia tabaci on tomatoes in single-span greenhouses 2013, 3 (8):  21-24.  Abstract + ( 1177 )   PDF ( 1135KB )   ( 1213 ) Distribution of whiteflies in single-span greenhouses were investigated in order to prvideprovide fundamental information for the control of whiteflies, this study investigated the distribution of whiteflies in single-span greenhousese. Our results indicated that the damage of adults, eggs and low instar nymphs of whiteflies were concentrated in the middle and upper part of the plant while large number of pupas were accumulated on the bottom part of the plant. The damage of adults, eggs and low instar nymphs of whiteflies in the middle and upper part of the plant in the middle ridge were more serious than that of the edge ridge. All in all, remove old leaves, chemical control focused on the middle and upper part of the plant, development of integrated management strategies of physical and biological methods together with the whitefly control in the middle ridge are effective ways for the prevention of whitefly in single-span greenhouses.

  Advance on the Occurrence Regulation and Control Measures of Manestra brassicae in Sugar Beet 2013, 3 (8):  25-28.  Abstract + ( 1197 )   PDF ( 1192KB )   ( 1363 ) In order to provide an effective guideline in control the moth for the famers of planting sugar beet, this article summarized the occurrence and impact of Mamestra brassicae on sugar beet production in China, reviewed some current advance on the distribution, occurrence regulation and impact factors, pointed out a serial of control measures including agricultural, biological, physical and chemical control for the moth, lastly, discussed the future development and research direction of safty and effective managing Mamestra brassicae in agricultural production.

  Comparisons of Application Effects of Several Foliar Spray Fertilizers on Rice 2013, 3 (8):  29-31.  Abstract + ( 1111 )   PDF ( 1141KB )   ( 1291 ) To select foliar spray fertilizers suitable to promote rice products, six kinds of foliar spray fertilizers were carried out on rice during the latter half of 2012. The results were as follows: after spraying on rice leaves, they all increased rice product yields ranging from 1.8%-13.2%, which of organic aqueous fertilizer of Penshibao (Treatment 2) had the most increasement of 13.2%, and major elements aqueous fertilizer of Daomai 520 (Treeatment 6) and trace elements aqueous fertilizer of Dalvhuang (Treeatment 3) respectively obtained the increase values of 11.3% and 10.7% in sequence, organic aqueous fertilizer of Haoda only improved 1.8% with the lowest. Production values and economic benefits were all the first in treatment 2, subsequently the second in treatment 6 and the third in treatment 3. The aforementioned results indicated organic aqueous fertilizer of Penshibao mostly contributed to rice production, secondly macroelement aqueous fertilizer of Damai 520 and thirdly microelement aqueous fertilizer of Dalvhuang, and this three kinds of fertilizers could be popularized to apply on rice in Hepu county.

  Problems of Farmland Ecological Environment and Its Effect on Food Production in Jilin Province 2013, 3 (8):  32-37.  Abstract + ( 1148 )   PDF ( 1467KB )   ( 1279 ) In this paper, farmland environment, the non-point source pollution, farmland soil degradation and influence of environment change on food production in Jilin province were analyzed. The reasons for the major meteorological disasters, non-point source pollution and land degradation were reviewed. Grain production fluctuation rule and economic losses caused by natural disasters on agricultural production were analyzed for 30 years. On this basis, the key technologies of sustainable food production were put forward in order to improve farmland ecological environment, increase food quality and guarantee the sustainable development of grain production. Our opinions were that scientific fertilization, improving the utilization rate, increasing soil organic matter and improving cultivated land productivity were the key to solve grain sustainable development.

  A review on the response of relation between carbon and nitrogen metabolism and tobacco leaf quality to nitrogen 2013, 3 (8):  38-40.  Abstract + ( 1121 )   PDF ( 1034KB )   ( 1283 ) The target of tobacco cultivation is excellent quality and optimal yield. Balanceable development of carbon and nitrogen metabolism is necessary condition of excellent quality of tobacco leaves. Nitrogen is important element to regulate carbon and nitrogen metabolism, yield and quality. We could regulate nitrogen account to control carbon and nitrogen metabolism of tobacco leaf, and then to achieve the target of excellent quality and optimal yield. This paper reviews the relation of carbon and nitrogen metabolism and nitrogen status in ripening and curing period of tobacco leaf to tobacco leaf quality, and provide suggestion to regulate carbon and nitrogen metabolism and then improve the tobacco leaf quality by control nitrogen fertilization.

  Study on the callus initiation culture of Magnolia officinlis shoots 2013, 3 (8):  41-46.  Abstract + ( 1117 )   PDF ( 1311KB )   ( 1090 ) The properties of Magnolia officinlis resources are attractive and in high utilization. It is in great demand at the market. Magnolia officinlis in natural are scarce resources, to force the people to create Magnolia officinlis plantation, but the low-yield of the Magnolia officinlis seed will be a bottleneck to seedling. The callus initiation culture of Magnolia officinlis shoots in the test will provide a reference for rapid propagation system of tissue culture. According to analysis and LSD multiple comparison analysis, the best medium, optimal hormone and culture sterilization conditions to start culturing Magnolia officinlis seedlings callus were studied by completely randomized experimental design. It indicated: the basic medium B5 was better, the lower NAA concentration could promote to initiation culture, and the higher was benefical to form callus; when added different (6-BA) and (2,4-D) into medium B5, the differentiation rate of callus was highest in the medium (B5 + 6-BA 3.0 mg/L + 2,4-D 3.0 mg/L), the buds the medium (B5 + 6-BA 4.5 mg/L + 2,4-D 2.0 mg/L); when added 6-BA and NAA into medium B5, the medium (B5 + 6-BA 4.5 mg/L + NAA 1.0 mg/L) was best to differentiate callus, the medium (B5 + 6-BA 5.0 mg/L + NAA 1.0 mg/L) the buds. Considering hormone interaction, the mediume (B5 +5.0 mg/L + NAA 1.0 mg/L) was the best to start culturing Magnolia officinlis seedlings callus. The study will provide a reference for rapid propagation system of Magnolia officinlis seedlings tissue culture.

  The Investigation and Garden Application about the Ornamental Grass in Urban Green Space of Xiamen 2013, 3 (8):  47-51.  Abstract + ( 1234 )   PDF ( 1452KB )   ( 1618 ) Taking Xiamen city green space as a example, through the surveys and statistics Xiamen urban green space in the ornamental grasses resource types, the results showed there were mainly 44 ornamental grasses are used in Xiamen city green space. In the garden application and morphological point of view, these different ornamental plant divided into two categories by height (>180 cm), medium-high (90-180 cm) ornamental grasses; dwarf type (60-90 cm), low type (<60 cm) ornamental grasses. analyzed and summarized in these two types of ornamental grass green space in the application mode, the application landscape forms and ideas, According to the principles of landscape and morphology, this paper analyzed and summarized the application of ornamental grasses in order to providing reference for further uses of ornamental grasses.

  The Application of Camphor Tree’s Species Selection in Garden Greening 2013, 3 (8):  52-56.  Abstract + ( 1269 )   PDF ( 1481KB )   ( 1618 ) In order to improve the effect in garden greening of camphor tree and give full play to the people's living environment and the function of healthcare. The paper took camphor tree resources of Fujian Province as the research object, adopted the method of laboratory distillation to extract camphor oil, analyzed the main component of the oil and classified the different biochemical types of camphor tree. By analyzing the types of Cinnamomum camphora in-depth, the results showed that there were significant differences of oil content and glycols content among the different organs of Cinnamomum camphora and the leaf had the highest content; there were also significant differences of oil content and glycols content among clones and the selected superior individual could obtain more than 50% of the gain; the comprehensive oil rate could reach 1.77%, the glycols content could reach 95.9% and the camphor could be less than 0.30% by selecting eight Cinnamomum camphora good clones. If it can be applied to the practice of landscaping, it can get the good effect of achieving maximum results with little effort in greening, aromatization and beautification and has very high useful value and economic value.

  Study on Tea Dust Physicochemical Properties, Origins and Control 2013, 3 (8):  60-64.  Abstract + ( 1107 )   PDF ( 1142KB )   ( 1699 ) Tea dust is defined as the mixture of powder, dust and smoke. In this paper, firstly, the course, density, size characteristic and physicochemical properties of tea dust were introduced with the special emphasis on its origin, delivery and accumulation effect. Based on tea, as a special material and efficience-safety-clean tea production in optimized layout factory, Secondly, relevant control measures were discussed against tea dust emission from shaking sieve machine, plane screening machine, flat stitch screening machine, cut tea maker, drifting-sifting machine and uniform heap packing machine. And subsequently, we reviewed the use of new technologies in dust control such as ultrasonic atomization, bag filter, electrostatic precipitation and acoustic cleaning and results showed solo-technique application was not efficient to prevent tea dust contamination because of various traits of dust in the process of tea making. Thus, we suggest that tea dust control requires a set of combined measures and evaluating indicators, which helps efficience-safety-clean tea production in future.

  Study on Informatization Construction for Farmers’Cooperatives of Underdeveloped Areas in Fujian 2013, 3 (8):  69-74.  Abstract + ( 1125 )   PDF ( 1141KB )   ( 1384 ) Abstract: To promote informatization construction for the farmers’cooperatives is not only an important measure to enhance the comprehensive ability of the farmers’ cooperatives, but also an important way to accelerate agricultural informatization. After the survey of the present situation of informatization construction for farmers’cooperatives in the underdeveloped areas, the feasibility of informatization construction for farmers’ cooperatives in the underdeveloped areas was described. The underdeveloped areas exist the potential, advantage and opportunity of developing informatization among farmers’cooperatives.   Emergency response mechanisms and strategies in respond to the severe agricultrual disasters by scientific agricultural technology 2013, 3 (8):  75-78.  Abstract + ( 1014 )   PDF ( 1000KB )   ( 1341 ) Abstract: Anhui Province is one of the provinces with complex geomorphic environment, many types of natural disasters, and high frequency and great severity of major agricultural disasters. It is of great practical significance to carry out the research on the agricultural disaster prevention and mitigation strategies scientifically and technologically, and establish the emergency response and long-acting mechanisms in respond to the major agricultural disasters. This study analyzed the reasons of the agricultural disaster occurrence and the problems in dealing with these disasters, and proposed four-point countermeasures for the agricultural disaster prevention and mitigation, providing references and guidance for the disaster prevention and mitigation in our country.
