Research on Distinguishing the Rural Type When Monitoring and Evaluating the Rural Soil Heavy Metal Pollution

Abstract: In order to establish the applicable method to monitor and evaluate the rural soil heavy metal pollution, the method and its importance of distinguishing the rural type were proposed, which were based on the study of typical rural cultivated land in Guangdong through comparing the difference between the overall evaluation and the classified evaluation. The results showed that: in 4 types of pilot villages, the soil in industrial village was polluted the most heavily. Different type of villages had the different particular soil heavy metal pollutants, the soil in planting-village was polluted by Cd more frequently, the soil in industrial village and the other type village was polluted by As more frequently. By means of this method, the particular pollutants in different type of rural soil could be revealed easily. It’s helpful to analyze the pollution source.
