The investigation and countermeasures of Tumorous Stem Mustard production and sales in Chongqing

Abstract: Tumorous Stem Mustard is seasonal characteristic vegetable in Chongqing, The main listing period in late November to March the following year, and the average annual growth of 3.15% about output of nearly three years,including fresh sale and processing, Most of the processing. The total planting area of Tumorous Stem Mustard in chongqing is 1.37 million mu with total production 2.53 million ton in 2012,of which the processing area is about 0.98 million mu, production amount 1.77million ton, have accounted for more than two-thirds of the total. Tumorous Stem Mustard planting area in “One hour economic circle” Suburban district is the most, accounting for 61% of the total, the southeast area of Chongqing account for 36%, the northeast area of Chongqing account for 3%. The total trading volume of Q is 9418.54ton over the whole year in the Guannongmao wholesale market, average daily volume is 25.8 ton ,trading from November to April the following year. The annual foreign and local Tumorous Stem Mustard volume ratio is 5.6:1. Tumorous Stem Mustard sales amount is 777.19 ton in 66 supermarkets of the downtown area, accounting for 1% of total sales of vegetables; accounting for 53.49% of the mustard vegetables. The sales ratio between foreign and local Tumorous Stem Mustard is 7.5:1.
