Research Advance on Lipopeptides Produced by Microorganism

Abstract

Abstract: Lipopeptides are produced by a variety of microbes. They are characterized by a high degree of structural diversity and have the ability to reduce surface and interface tension. It was well known that lipopeptides have excellent surfactant function, and have been widely used. But their are many other functions that have not to be studied deeply, such as anti-bacterial, anti-virus, anti-tumor, thrombolysis and insecticide, etc., therefore, this compounds have good application potential and promising development. This paper mainly reviews and summarizes the production, biosynthesis, purification and application of lipopeptides were reviewed and summarized to provide reference for related research in the same field.
