Abstract: The paper aims to select varieties of Rehmannia glutinosa which are suitable for planting in Shandong and determine appropriate planting and fertilization mode. We compared the effects of planting and fertilization modes on the yield of 4 different R. glutinosa varieties. The results showed that: the comprehensive traits of‘Beijing No.3’showed excellent performance and could be planted as the main variety in this area; the high border planting method should be adopted in the area with more rainwater, and the film mulching greatly increased the yield of R. glutinosa; suitable nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium dosage could increase the yield of R. radix, and the economic application amount of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium was 238.5 kg/hm2, 262.5 kg/hm2, 120.0 kg/hm2, respectively, the economic yield was 35859.0 kg/hm2 and the theoretical maximum yield was 35917.0 kg/hm2.
