  The Reference of Intercropping Technology in Tobacco Production 2011, 1 (5):  1-4.  Abstract + ( 2045 )   PDF ( 928KB )   ( 2163 ) This paper summerized the intercropping technology research progress at home and abroad, hoping providing some help on the application of the technology in tobacco cultivation, introduced the combination principle and appraisal index of intercropping, analyzed and summarized theoretical foundation, the effects on crops (including crop growth、quantity and quality and diseases and pests prevention, and so on) and soil physical, chemical and biological properties caused by successful intercropping model, at last made some suggestions to questions needed in tobacco intercropping planting, such as tobacco can not intercrop with vegetables and solanaceae, the symbiotic period can not exceed 40 days and so on.

  Resistance Evaluation of 308 Wheat Germplasm Resources 2011, 1 (5):  5-8.  Abstract + ( 2046 )   PDF ( 1070KB )   ( 2299 ) Powdery mildew, stripe rust, leaf rust are harmful diseases to reducing yield in wheat. In order to select the source resistance, we have measured 308 germplasm resources by the method of field investigation. The result of this study showed that 19 of them with high resistance to powdery mildew, 68 of them with high resistance to stripe rust, 50 of them with high resistance to leaf rust resistant and 3 of them with high resistance to all these three diseases. And these results are references for wheat breeding.

  The inhibitory effect of extracts from Walnut Peel against four kinds of plant Fusarium Wilt pathogens 2011, 1 (5):  9-12.  Abstract + ( 1639 )   PDF ( 1107KB )   ( 1989 ) In order to study the inhibitory effect of extracts from walnut peel on 4 kinds of plant fusarium wilt pathogens, petroleumether, chlorform and methanol were used to extract the walnut peel, the antimicrobial activity of different extracts were tested with Fusarium oxyspoumf .sp. melongenae, Fusarium oxysporiumf. sp. cucumeris, Fusarium oxysporumf. sp. pepper and Fusarium oxysporiumf. sp watermelon, respectively. The results showed that the methanol extracts of walnut peel had the strongest inhibitory effect on tested fusarium wilt, the inhibition rates were more than 60% to Fusarium oxyspoumf. sp. melongenae, Fusarium oxysporiumf. sp. cucumeris and Fusarium oxysporumf. sp. pepper, was 37.9% to Fusarium oxysporiumf. sp watermelon. The petroleum ether extracts from methanol extract of walnut peel had stronger antimicrobial activity with EC50 of 4.45 mg/mL against Fusarium oxysporiumf. sp watermelon, the inhibition rate was 65%, the inhibition rates of the chlorform extracts against Fusarium oxyspoumf. sp. melongenae and Fusarium oxysporiumf. sp .cucumeris were 65% and 62.3%，EC50 were 4.46 mg/mL and 3.51 mg/mL; the inhibition rate of the methanol extracts against Fusarium oxysporumf. sp. pepper was 63.94%, the EC50 values of methanol’s extraction against mycelial growth of Fusarium oxysporumf. sp. pepper was 4.23 mg/mL.

  Toxicity Test of Bactericides to Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. citri 2011, 1 (5):  13-16.  Abstract + ( 1677 )   PDF ( 1014KB )   ( 1896 ) Screening effective bactericides to Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. citri is the main measure to control Citrus Canker. Toxicity test showed that EC50 of 70% Cupic Hydroxide WP, 20% Thiodiazole-copper SC, 3% Zhongshengmycin WP, 77% Dodecylguanidine monoacetate WP, 72% Streptomycin Sulfate to Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. citri were 265.71, 93.86, 162.89, 127.61, 38.62 μg/mL, respectively. According to EC50, the sequence of inhabitability to Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. citri were 72% Streptomycin Sulfate > 20% Thiodiazole-copper SC > 77% Dodecylguanidine monoacetate WP > 3% Zhongshengmycin WP > 70% Cupic Hydroxide W P.

  Protection, Exploitation and Utilization of Brasenia schreberi in Mahu Lake of Leibo County in Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture 2011, 1 (5):  17-20.  Abstract + ( 1893 )   PDF ( 996KB )   ( 1851 ) Basis on the investigating the original ecological environmental conditions of Brasenia schreberi, such as the climate and hydrology of its place of origin etc. as well as its current planting situation, this paper explained the advantages and potentials of exploiting and utilizing the original ecological environment of the Brasenia schreberi in Mahu Lake. It had natural conditions and excellent quality, the good foundation of development, great potential of development and other advantages, there was also original habitat degradation, weak economic base, low scale, insufficient investment in research and other disadvantages. From aspects and so on perfect regulation system, strengthen the original habitat protection, increased research efforts and drive technology demonstration proposed advances the protection, exploitation and utilization of Brasenia schreberi in Mahu Lake of Leibo County.

  Landscape Design of Bamboo in Agri-tourism Garden Based on Multi-sensory Interactive Experience 2011, 1 (5):  21-27.  Abstract + ( 1774 )   PDF ( 2057KB )   ( 1653 ) Agri-tourism garden is a new kind of garden combining agriculture with tourism. In order to meet the agri-tourism garden’s demands, the element of multi-sensory interactive experience of the landscape design of bamboo was concluded, and the landscape design based on multi-sensory interactive experience was proposed in this paper. The application of the multi-sensory interactive experience of the bamboo’s landscape image would be in favor of construction of special relaxation space, and accelerated the tourists’ perception of bamboo landscape, achieved a good interaction with the landscape.

  Analysis and Evaluation on the Nutritional Components of Acipenser schrenckii 2011, 1 (5):  28-31.  Abstract + ( 1904 )   PDF ( 1169KB )   ( 2350 ) It is the research on main nutrient components and chemical protein evaluation of Acipenser schrenckii roe that provide reference for deep processing of Acipenser schrenckii roe and scientific basis for exploitation, and comprehensive utilization of Acipenser schrenckii resources. The nutritive components of Acipenser schrenckii roe were determinated by conventional analytical methods. The results showed that the crude protein content of Acipenser schrenckii roe was 26.00%. The 18 amino acids content of Acipenser schrenckii roe was 25.21%. Among these amino acids, the essential amino acids content was 10.16%, and the fraction of essential amino acids was approximately 40.30%. The ratio of essential amino acids to non-essential amino acids was 67.51%. Tryptophane, the first limiting amino acids, scores 92. The unsaturated fatty acids amount of ASO was 62.8%. The EPA and DHA amount of Acipenser schrenckii roe reached to 10.3%. The content of mineral elements, such as Fe and Zn, were high. Its content was 22.07 mg/kg, 18.00 mg/kg, respectively. Acipenser schrenckii roe had the characteristics of high protein, low carbohydrate, and reasonable proportion of amino acid, abundant minerals and abundant unsaturated fatty acid, which had a bright application future.

  Effects of Iron and Vitamin A and Their Interaction on Performance and Serum Antioxidant Indice in Laying Hens 2011, 1 (5):  32-39.  Abstract + ( 1983 )   PDF ( 998KB )   ( 1780 ) The study was conducted to investigate the effects of iron and vitamin A on performance and serum antioxidant indice in laying hens. A 3×2 completely random experiment was designed. A total of four hundred and thirty-two Hyline Brown laying hens were randomly divided into 6 treatments. Iron supplementation levels were 0, 30, 60 mg/kg, and vitamin A supplementation levels were 4000, 8000 IU/kg. The results showed that: (1) The supplementation of dietary iron increased significantly average egg weight, activity of Cu, Zn-superoxide dismulase, glutathione peroxidase and ceruloplasmin in serum, and concentration of hydrogen peroxide and inhibiting hydroxy radical capacity in serum (P<0.05)，and increased significantly total antioxidant capacity in serum at 31-34 weeks (P<0.05). (2) The supplementation of dietary vitamin A increased significantly activity of ceruloplasmin in serum (P<0.05). (3) Interaction of iron and vitamin A affected significantly the activity of glutathione peroxidase and ceruloplasmin in serum (P<0.05). The results indicated that the supplementation of iron in diet did not improved performance of laying hens, but promoted production of free radicals, and increased activity of antioxidase.

  The Study Result of the Solar Energy Application on Bulk Curing Barn 2011, 1 (5):  40-43.  Abstract + ( 1761 )   PDF ( 1000KB )   ( 2779 ) In order to achieve energy conservation and emission reduction, a combination of energy from solar and coal has been built up based on a bulk curing barn by installing a solar heat system on the top of a bulk curing barn roof which are comprised of a heat room with valve controlled by a fan, lighting and heating transformation sheet and automatic temperature monitor. This study was focused on how much effect of the solar heating system could be as a supplemental energy to curing process, It has been turned out that not only a significant energy reduction has been achieved, but this modification bulk curing barn were easily constructed and economical, the solar energy could supply all heating from the early stage of tobacco curing process. The modified solar curing barn could save 20%-24% coal consumption per kg drying leaf as the one from a bulk curing barn at achieving the equivalent leaf quality. It has shown an encouraging prospective of benefit for economy and society especially on emission reduction and worthwhile for those area with abundant solar resource to extend this technology.

  Analysis of the Comprehensive Advantage of Development Potato Industry in Dingxi 2011, 1 (5):  44-49.  Abstract + ( 1859 )   PDF ( 976KB )   ( 2265 ) In order to study the advantage of potato industry sustainable development and strengthen the confidence of development potato industry in Dingxi. By analyses the advantages of natural and basic conditions, and the change of demand because the increase of domestic consumption and industry and international trade, and to realize the yield increase of potatoes and the comparative benefits of potato relative to other food crops, and so on. The result shows the advantage of potato industry development including the special climate characteristic and fertile farmland resources, and the superior convenient location and the demand increase of the consumption and industry in our country and international trade. These advantages will to be the lasting power of the sustainable development of potato industry.

  The Analysis of Components of Rice Cost in Hunan Province 2011, 1 (5):  50-54.  Abstract + ( 1700 )   PDF ( 962KB )   ( 2116 ) To stimulate farmers’ initiatives effectively and to make sure that people get the same amount of wage for doing the same kind of work, a criterion of direct subsidies is provided here on the basis of lots of field work. Calculation and analysis of the typical areas of Hunan Province based on the production cost, cost of sales and government subsidies show that in terms of production cost of early, middle and late rice, there are obvious differences in types and areas. Differences among areas are especially noticeable. The highest daily wage of some areas, though fails to reach the standard wage set by the market, is 2.6 times than that of other areas, which are at the bottom. Therefore, to make sure that people in different areas get the same amount of wage for doing the same kind of work, it is quite necessary to implement the differentiated subsidy policy. And at this stage, in order to narrow the financial gap among farmers and to stimulate farmers' initiatives, this program plans to divide Hunan Province into four districts of various production-cost gradients, implementing the differentiated subsidy policy.

  The Analysis of Stimulation Effects on Fujian Agricultural Development from Taiwan Investment 2011, 1 (5):  55-58.  Abstract + ( 1584 )   PDF ( 944KB )   ( 1857 ) Agricultural cooperation between Fujian and Taiwan has lasted for 30 years, agricultural investment from Taiwan has covered the shortage of Fujian agricultural investment and promoted the development of Fujian agriculture, the stimulation effects are very obvious. Adopting the approach of combining positive and quantitative analysis and case, this article studied on stimulation effects on Fujian agricultural development from Taiwan agricultural investment. From the viewpoints of capital accumulation, technology spillover, industry optimization, foreign trade orientation and employment enlargement, we would see that investment introduction from Taiwan was an important way to promote the development of Fujian agriculture when capital input was insufficient.

  The Epidemiology Survey on the effect of Iodine Deficiency on Children's Intelligence in Rural Areas of Shanxi Province 2011, 1 (5):  59-65.  Abstract + ( 1717 )   PDF ( 1106KB )   ( 1814 ) Iodine deficiency has an important influence on brain tissue and thyroid function. In order to formulate prevention measures and provide epidemiology survey data, iodine in Children's urine, the water and feed were analyzed with arsenic cerium spectrophotometry and children's intelligence within 8-13 years old was tested with International Raven intelligence test in some rural area of Ningwu and Taigu County. The results showed that these rural areas in Ningwu were iodine deficiency and children's intelligence level was low, which belongs to the severe iodine deficiency areas. So Dazai village of Ningwu could be the collection area of low iodine feed.
