Analysis of the Quality of the Storage Wheat in Northern Sichuan

Abstract: In order to understand the wheat quality of the storage wheat in Northern Sichuan, 19 samples taken in 9 counties or districts of 3 cities of this area in 2009 were tested and analyzed. The results showed that grain property and the farinograms of storage wheat in Guangyuan were better than that in Mianyang and in Deyang. There was significant difference in the test weight in Northern Sichuan, as the environment effect was obvious. There was no significant difference in the 1000-kernel weight, protein content of wheat grain, the wet gluten content, and the farinograms of storage wheat in Northern Sichuan, as the environment effect was not obvious.
