Abstract: [Aims] Ginseng as a valuable Chinese herbal medicine, rust rot is one of the major root disease of ginseng, based on lack of effective fungicides to control ginseng rust rot caused by Cylindrocarpon destructans in ginseng production, the aim of this research is to provide a theoretical basis for controlling ginseng rust rot. [Methods] Toxicities of 11 fungicides against C. destructans were tested by mycelium growth rate method in laboratory, and field trials against C. destructans were also conducted. [Results] The results indicated in laboratory that 10%score WG, 18.7?brio team WG and 60?itai WG showed higher effective to the C. destructans, Their EC50 values were 1.19mg/L, 20.56 mg/L and 27.77 mg/L. The results of field trials indicated that 10%score WG, 18.7?brioteam WG and 60?itai WG exhibited high control effect. [Conclusions] Currently 10%score WG, 18.7?brio team WG and 60?itai WG are effective fungicides on ginseng rust rot.
