Abstract: The experiments showed that four different pruning had different influence to growth construction and cold resistance, when we used 5-6 years-old ‘Longzhu’ in winter and summer. The results showed that the effect of different seasons and pruning intensity to Prunus persica ‘Longzhu’ cuttlefish ribbon, flowering, cold resistance were different. Sprout branches were little; flowering time was short, color was mixed and disorderly, and 1-year-old branch’s cold resistance was weak, if we don’t do pruning. If we did light pruning, branching ability, cold resistance was stronger. If we did moderate pruning, sprout branches were more, flower bud was earlier, flowering time was long and cold resistance was stronger. Heavy pruning made the strongest branching ability, larger corolla and less spend. If we did heavy pruning in winter, branching ability was the least, and cold resistance was the weakest.
