Abstract: To make full use of the abundant fruit tree resources in Shanxi Province and solve the problem of cultivation resource shortage in mushroom industry, mushroom‘K5’was used as experimental material, hardwood, mulberry tree, apple tree and jujube tree were used as cultivation medium, to determine and analyze the content of organic matter in mushroom and stick and mushroom yield. The results showed that the four kinds of fruit trees could be used as the cultivation medium of mushroom, and there was a significant correlation between the mushroom yield and the organic matter content in sporocarp. The yield and the content of organic matter of mushroom cultivated on jujube tree medium were higher than those of mushroom cultivated on other fruit tree medium, and it also made more use of organic matter of the bacteria stick. Therefore, jujube trees can be used as the cultivation medium instead of the traditional broad- leaved trees in mushroom substitute cultivation.
