Abstract: Dacus dorsalis, a pest that originated in tropical or subtropical areas, is considered to be the top killer of fruit and vegetable. Dacus dorsalis was first reported in Taizhou in 2007, and seriously damaged partial local citrus orchards for 3 consecutive years. However, Dacus dorsalis has hardly been discovered since 2010 in Taizhou. In order to make sure the reason that Dacus dorsalis cannot colonize for a long time in Taizhou, the possibility of collective migration and centralized damage of Dacus dorsalis was analyzed, and the comprehensive influences of climate condition, ecological environment, host plant and soil condition were analyzed. The research has certain significance for quarantine and control of Dacus dorsalis in similar ecological regions.
